PACKHUNT AUSTRALIA SCAVENGER HUNT FAQs

If you are fit and well, then pregnancy is not a barrier to play an Packhunt! Once you're collected your pack, you take on the challenges of your chosen Packhunt at your own pace, so go as hard or easy as you find comfortabl.

We welcome players with hearing difficulties, but one member of the team will be required to have fully functional hearing as there are audio puzzle. All our rooms depend on the use of vision and mobility and contain some physical obstacles and challenges, so please call or email to discuss your situation. If you have any special requirements, please let us know in the booking form, or send an email to bookings@escapethis.com.au

Our Packhunts are designed for for players groups of between 2 and 6 people. If you group is bigger than 6 people, that's not a problem, we can split you between 2 or more Packhunts to start at the same time.

Your booking confirmation will provide full details on your designated collection and start points, but if you're playing in Manly, you'll begin your hunt from Escape This Sydney, Manly Beach, and in Perth, at Escape This Northbridge. Who knows, you may even want to extend the fun of your Packhunt experience by booking a totally immersive escape room before or after?!

Absolutely! If your group is split across multiple Packhunts we can arrange for everyone to start at the same time. Use our multi room booker to find simultaneous start availability across our rooms.

We recommend a minimum age of 9 years to enjoy maximum engagement with the puzzles and challenges your Packhunt will pose.

Last-minute bookings are possible if we have capacity. Our website features live availability so you can always see if there is a last minute slot available. Check live availability here.

Yes. As long as you do not exceed the maximum group size for your chosen Packhunt you are welcome to bring extra guests and pay for them on the day. Remember, Packhunts are very much the more the merrier!

The whole experience will last approximately 2 hours (including a briefing and debrief), depending on how fast you can solves the puzzles in your chose Packhunt. There will be a short briefing followed by a 90-minute game. After the experience, there will be a team photo, and a debrief.

We are located in the heart of Perth in Northbridge, so we are easy to get to by car, train or bus. Click here for our location. We are a short walk from Perth City Station and the CBD. Please check out Transperth for public transport. If you are coming by car, there is plenty of street parking or you can use a car park.

Our Packhunts are an all-weather activity. We recommend wet weather gear in the event of inclement weather. Should you wish to reschedule your Packhunt on account of the weather, we require a minimum of 4 hours’ notice.

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled experience as departing gamers may let information slip and spoil your game. If you find yourself running late, please call and let us know. Late arrival might reduce the amount of playing time available if the following session time has been booked by other teams.

There is no dress code – you can arrive straight from the office, worksite, gym or home. Dress as you please. Fancy dress is also an option and may add to your experience. We do though recommend comfortable foortwear, and sunscreen/umbrellas depending on the weather conditions at time of play.

To play, you'll download the app we email you after your booking is confirmed, then meet us at your designated collection point to pick up your Packhunt Pack - a backpack full of the clues and puzzles you need on your adventure. From there, follow the narrative of your chosen Packhunt as it guides you along a journey of discovery to various locations around Manly, Sydney or the Perth CBD, solving puzzles whilst unlocking and revealing more clues hidden along the route.

Click through to the Book Now page. Select the Packhunt you wish to play and choose the date and time of the session you want to book. Input your gift voucher code into the ‘coupon code’ box and hit apply coupon. Proceed to checkout, complete the details requested and select ‘Place Order’. You will then receive a booking confirmation email with details of your booking.
